植物丙酮酸磷酸双激酶(PPDK)研究进展

摘 要:

丙酮酸磷酸双激酶(PPDK)是C4植物和景天科酸代谢(CAM)植物光合作用的关键酶, 催化形成固定CO2的初始分子受体磷酸烯醇式丙酮酸(PEP)。本文重点比较了植物的PPDK基因结构及分子进化关系, 综述了PPDK在C4植物和C3植物中的功能、PPDK的调控机理、PPDK在胁迫条件下的功能以及转PPDK基因等在近年来的研究进展。

Abstract:

Pyruvate, orthophosphate dikinase (PPDK) is a cardinal enzyme of the C4 and CAM pathway. Its role in C4 photosynthesis is to catalyze the regeneration of the CO2 acceptor PEP. This chapter addresses the comparisons among plant PPDK genes and the evolution and phylogenetic distribution of PPDK. The current stateof-knowledge on PPDK functions in C4 and C3 plants and the regulation of PPDK are described. Also reviewed are the role of PPDK in stress and transgenic plants expressing PPDK.
